Eriko Posted February 21, 2013 Report Share Posted February 21, 2013 Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums, and wanted to introduce myself. I've been target shooting before but not for a number of years, I am now hoping to apply for my FAC in a few months, and will now probably apply for the SGC at the same time. I would class myself as a target shooter atm, but I also want to pursue deer stalking. I am also very keen on the idea of rough shooting, and being able to bag the odd rabbit or pigeon for the pot as great appeal to me. I am much more familiar with rifles and haven't even shot a shotgun yet, but my club does practical shotgun as well as rifles, so I'm assuming it should be okay to apply on that basis. I'm not 100% set on what I am applying for but it is likely to be .22LR, .243 and the shotgun. I had planned to explore hunting after I get my tickets, but I'm not sure how feasible that is, a big part of the reason I'm here is that I could use some advise on this.
