Seamus
I'm looking for someone near Northampton (between Northampton and Towcester) to come onto my land and hopefully take care of the rabbits. I've been shooting them but just don't have the time to make a decent dent in them. They're currently making a right mess of my garden, paddock and neighboring fields. I would prefer someone local, and just to be clear this is for ferreting, not shooting. I would also ask that you have insurance, even if shooting isn't involved (just from a "responsible person" perspective). I will say I know very little (well nothing) about Ferrets so if this is inappropriate as regards seasons/young etc. then get in touch anyway via PM and we can sort something out when it is. sitsinhedges
Bit late in the hunting year for ferretting now unless you want to dig them out cos they've killed young underground.
Zapp
A great offer, I only wish I had ferrets. Anyway, here is a thumbs up for Seamus in general, he is a top bloke who has helped me out in the past. Hope someone can help him with the rabbits. Seamus
Carl, PM replied to, you are more than welcome to come with your brother. As we've shot together before (and assuming I'm about), you are also welcome to bring your shotgun, there are a few pigeons and plenty of rooks about at the moment. Pete, thanks for the kind words, much appreciated. How is your little project going? I'm always available for tasting/constructive criticism duties
