Roost Shooting

dazzyboi,

When asking for advice you must be prepared to get some that you dont want to hear as well as that, that will make you feel good.

Now that said I can not help you with the roost shooting question, however with the actually hitting game question you say you shoot clays, but not what type. If it is straight trap or skeet you will become pattered and mechanical....in my opinion..... Try shooting sporting clays as this will give you varied shots, which are more realistic to hunting. As well if you are having a big problem hitting them, buy a thrower and release the spring tension until the clays have slowed right down. Once you are hitting consistantly start to tighten the spring back up.

The one thing I would do before anything else though is take your gun to a compitant gun smith and have it fitted to you. You may find that this helps more than anything else.
