wabbits8
Hi, I'm new to air guns so, bought 2nd hand SMK .22. There is a screw missing from the trigger gaurd & the spring casing is loose. When I fire pellets there is a lot of recoil & I'm 2/3inch off target. Does the missing screw from the trigger gaurd have any have anything to do with securing barrel & spring case.? D_No
What model is it?
FalconFN
It would help to know the model but usually at least one of the bolts in the trigger guard will go directly into the cylinder housing. If you can remove the action from the stock by just removing the screws from the forend then it is missing one on the trigger guard. Take a look at chambers gun spares web site as they have exploded diagrams (although I think they don't do smk spares any more).
bruno22rf
Of the 2 screws that secure the trigger gaurd,a quick look at pictures of common SMK air rifles indicates that the one nearest the barrel is the only one that could secure the cylinder to the stock-and yes, this would make the gun difficult to shoot accurately..
