grasshopper
Just received a replacement motor for my flapper but i am having trouble re-fitting the arms Flapper motor packed up when lent out and few people had a look at it convinced they could repair it. Now i have it back it seems as though 1 of the arms is bent.. Q. are both of the arms the same or is 1 offset to the other?
TIGHTCHOKE
Both the same on mine!
grasshopper
Both the same on mine! Cheers..left arm seems ok although it comes right in next to the centre spike whereas the right arm is off at 3 o clock. Thinking it has been stood on now wondering if both arms are out
TIGHTCHOKE
They should both move to the extreme of their travel at the same time and close together!

varminter pb
Sorry to hijack your post, but been looking at their complete package 'http://www.ukshootwarehouse.com/flapping-rotary-machine-complete' and very tempted, as it provides two flappers as well as a rotary magnet, much cheaper than buying separately, and could always use two plain arms on the magnet. Just wanting to see what others people's experiences of this particular model / package is, or alternatively looking at A1decoys flappers, buy expensive by comparison. Thanks
TIGHTCHOKE
Allways been happy with UK SHOOT WAREHOUSE kit since buying it from Will many years ago! BUT, I really don't think you need flappers on the rotary, dead birds or good decoys are better and have two dead birds on the flappers at the head of your decoy pattern! I'd agree, but like the versatility of the package or option, alternatively buy separately and maybe cost more?

Price it all up and work it out, do you really need to buy it all at once? Would you be better buying some elements first and learning how to use them? Can you carry it all in one go? varminter pb
Thanks for all of the three above posts..... i had read and looked up the discounts for PW members, thanks for that. Regarding do I need it all......? your right, i need to get out there and start with what my mate has, maybe buy a few 'bits' myself, together we should have most things covered, time will tell when i see his gear. The only issue will be if I need to go out on my own. Thanks for the advice guys.
