The Ghost
When I got my last little bulldog puppy I asked the breeder "How much should I feed it" he said, going off the food packs is just a guide? He said he always went off what the dog/puppy looked like, if it looked a bit light feed it more and if you thought it was getting fat feed it less. I was giving mine almost twice as much as she should have had (as on package) and she Won her first ever show as a puppy. If you think your dog needs more food, you will be right so go with your gut. Winning show with puppy
Tom&Dexter
Some guide lines on the bag are way over for some dogs Feed to the eye but mak sure it's getting enough good quality food in its early years Try a google search for other opinions Congrats on the new pup
kent
I don't feed complete to pups because I want to know exactly what is in it. I should certainly supplement that feed with an odd boiled egg, milk and tiny amounts of high value vitamin rich foods like liver and kidney. Lab pups want to be a bit porky looking just like human babies but not obese. Forget what it says go on what you can see
