Cube stereo pro for sale

Recommended Posts

Hi all, unfortunately I need some cash to go towards a new car so I'm selling my pride and joy mountain bike.

It's a 2010 cube stereo R1 carbon, its a 20 inch frame which sounds big but I'm 5 10' and it fits me perfect. The spec on this bike is awesome and the fact I've just spent over a grand on it with receipts for everything makes it a bargain.

The bike has fox 32 talas 150mm travel front forks, which have adjustable pressure, adjustable fast/slow rebound and have just been kashima coated and serviced by MOJO in wales, the only fox approved specialist in the uk at a cost if £320.

It has a fox RP23 rear shock with 3 position switch and lockout,

It has the most powerful and lightest brakes you can get in Formula R1 brakes which are phenomenal and were replaced last novermber discs and pads.

It has the best gears money can buy in full shimano XTR setup. The gear chances are super smooth.

Recently in the last month the bike had a full back to frame service at Surosa cycles in oldham who are a cube specialist, they strip it to the frame and clean/grease everything. The only thing to flag up on the service were front wheel bearing which were replaced, the service cost £110 on its own.

Then 3 weeks ago I put on the top of the range 2013 rockshox reverb dropper seat at a cost of £310. This is the brand new one for this year.

The bike has had everything it could possibly need to it to get it in mint working order.

Just for reference here's parts price breakdown if what things on the bike cost

Formula R1 brakes -£600 to buy

Fox front fork with kashima coating £900

Full shimano XTR gears £900

Fox rear shock £350

Dropper seat £310

Carbon fibre brake leavers £220

Carbon fibre rear derailleur £275

Heavy duty chain £70

I'm sure even though I've rambled on for ages I've missed some stuff out but any questions please feel free to ask. I highly doubt you will be able to buy a better value for money bike than this. It really is stunning.

I have pictures that I can send but only to mobiles. But if some kind member would let me send them the pics and they upload them for me it would really be appriciated. Price is £1500.

Thanks for looking ATB 425

I am mr msellens, my apologises if it was you last time who was interested when I decided not to sell it. I decided to keep it as a commute to work, spent loads on it and am now fed up of using it to get to work and not really getting out at weekends on it.

Since you were interested its had a lot of work done and some excellent extras added like the kashima coating on the front forks which cost £220 on its own plus a front fork service where they replace all seals/ fluids and fresh stickers. Plus the dropper seat that was £310, a full service and a new front wheel that cost £170. A new front and rear mud guard at £60. My mates think I'm stupid selling it but needs must.
