sitsinhedges
Found a little tin of Fiocchi type primers which after a bit of thought I recall came out of some Lyalvale 3" 410 cases. The cases were new bought for reloading but I had to de-cap them to send them on to someone thru the post. The primers are copper coloured with a white card over the flash hole. What primers would they be? A mild Fiocchi such as 614 maybe? I recall ringing Norman Clarke back then to ask having bought them from him, only to be told they're a CX50 which they certainly aint. Floating Chamber
They are m684 (similar to CX50 in brisance) you can use them in 20 gauge Eley cases.... They are 'fatter' than CX50. The bulk boxes of these Cheddite cases are labelled 'CX 50'....that's why you were told this, Andy.
