grant aka bigman was out with us yesterday i was on other part of estate with customer stalking but i hear he had a fair few shots im sure he will give the full details

It was a cracking day Iv got to admit , birds on my permission seem to have dried up not seen a bird on there in the last few visits so thought I'd treat myself to day out with my birthday money :-) ,

As Karl was busy with stalking I was taken out by Lee , he showed me a few possible fields all had bird traffic coming and going first field of rape I setup on didn't show much action as unaware to me the birds where using a flight line behind me as the wind had changed ,

I rang lee and asked if I could be moved and he placed me in another field of rape that looked battered , as im a novice to pigeon shooting I asked Lee advice on the pattern etc , he set my dec's an magnet up for me while I set the hide ,

I'd only just got into the hide and was getting my bits together and birds started to drop in , I didnt notice the first few as it happened so quick ,

I ended the day with a big pile ..... Of cartridges if only I'd manage to hit more I would of had a good bag the birds dropped in steady all afternoon some even Tried to land on the magnet, it was the first time Iv had pigeons properly coming on to my decoys an believe that the little tricks Lee showed me really done the business

Total for the afternoon was 6 picked for 51 cartridges not the greatest of ratios but really enjoyed my day and learnt a fair bit .
