fireshot
Got one last week the only different in the new is it will see further than the standard. I only shoot fac air /17hmr so standard is fine . I bought a dsa adapter which makes it very easy to change over and shot rabbits 120/130 yards with ease over all very happy with it worth the money and cheaper than the other one ,and with the money saved you can buy your own box . First fox
Spend your money a bit more wisely matey. I had one of the these and yea good on air rifle but absolute rubbish on full bore . The picture and over all set up on the new ns200 is far superior I'n all ways just back from a night looking for mr fox and the clarity and viewing even on a rabbit was out standing at 200 yards the stock mounted battery is a pleasure to use adding very little to your rifle weight .as for the nite- eye yes I bought one trying to save a few pennies buy true is the saying a fool and his money are easily parted picture quality was poor setting up was difficult to say the least on my 223 it would black out ( switch it's self off) after a shot was taken . The after sale service well what after sale service called email but guess what still waiting on a reply three months later. happyshooter
Hi BM, well i own both tbe ns200 and the nite eye n500 and use both regalarly om fac air and rimfires, on range both systems work out to 175 yds , both systems work very well , the ns 200 looks better finished than the nite eye but performance wise they are equal, value wise the nite eye is a bargain if i was after a good nv for the best value i would recomend the nite eye, i am happy to help with any info on these 2 systems just pm/email me, atb brian
moorvale55
To Happyshooter : Thinking of getting the night eye for use on .22lr / 17hmr / and .243, is it ok on all these calibres or do you think the NS200 is the better option?
bikemad24
i ended up making my own. it was really easy and the results were very impressive. i can easily see out to 250 yrds no bull. it cost around £250 to make a very good setup. also if better cameras come out i can easily adapt my system to suit. iv been out with three farmers in the last 2 weeks and they were very impressed. check out nightvisionforum.co.uk. the camera you want in my opinion is a watec 902 h with a 12 mm lens and a markylight ir iluminator. they are the 2 expensive bits everything else you can get from ebay for peanuts. pm me if you ant some pics and info. The cam lens may be not perfectly adjusted to suit the scope I have been tempted to try improving mine, but to get the 3 settings {parallax, eyepiece and cam lens all optimal is a bit daunting
