An experiment which only needs a little tweaking to get it how I want it....

 

Tenderloin of fallow venison with poached pears, a red wine, crabapple and sloe jelly glaze and giant polenta chips...nom nom nom....

 

Next time I will swap the polenta for potato and also have some cubes of caramalised ginger and some peas or beans for colour (and a white oblong plate).
