welshwarrior
I used to help the scouts with this sort of thing for what thought was a reasonable fee (bacon sandwich and a cup of tea) moving back to the Bisley area and hope to get involved again. puslinch
My 12yr daughter started shooting a few months back, had a few lessons with Ian Butler at HWSG and we've been on a few Sunday club shoots and Saturday afternoon practice. She started with a 20 bore Browning with 21g cartridges and tried a 12 bore with 28g subsonic cartridges and is shooting brilliantly! I purchased her a Bettinsoli 12 bore 26" barrel o/u on the weekend. I shot with it a few times, nice piece of kit. She tried a Escort Semi synthetic and didn't get a long with it, fussy to load. She can hold her own in the stand and has been out shooting the other juniors on the Sunday shoots. Lessons are a must and the guys on the club shoots are very good with pointers for her, gb
seandjohnson
My 11yr old daughter shoots with me, she shoots a 20 bore Beretta Silver Pigeon with 21g cartridges, she started complaining of a bruised shoulder so I bought her a skeet vest with a gel pad, she is now loving her shooting and complains when we have finished all the stands that they went too quickly, it's a great, albeit pricey, investment but well worth it!
