superspark
Hi all, I usually decoy rooks with still full bodied decoys which works very well. My question is: After shooting a couple wound it it help bring them in if I use my twin arm rotory pigeon magnet? Has anybody actualy tried this and what was the outcome cheers Daren
aga man
save the rotary for the pigeons in my experience the rooks are not attracted to them. use a flapper with dead bird or stick to your normal set up

anser2
I do little rook shooting , but over the past few days a farmer asked me to sort out some rooks hitting fresh drilling. They came well to full body decoys and better when some dead birds were added to the decoys , but when I put a couple on the whirley not a bird would come anywhere near and the same when I put one on a bouncer. As soon as I put the whirley away they came into the decoys nicely. I have read of others doing well with crows on a whirly , but they did not work for me. Bluebarrels
A rotary will work well for corvids just put one bird on though, leave the other arm on to balance the rotary always worked for me BB
