kyska
could some one please tell me what is the min acre is needed for fac licence There isn't one, depends on how safe it is. I know someone who shoots a disused quarry, its tiny, but full of bunnies.
bruno22rf
I think location is more important than actual size but you need to be sensible-you would be lucky to be granted an FAC for shooting in a window box.If you have 250 Acres of stoney ,flat ground criss crossed with public footpaths you are less likely to be granted an FAC than if you have 50 Acres in the middle of nowhere with no public access and plenty of natural backstops.Talk to your local FEO before applying. Blunderbust
As has been stated it all depends on the lie of the land and the surrounding area. One of my permissions is surrounded on 3 sides buy houses and is only 10 acres but because of the fact that it is woodlands and has some great ditches and back stops I can use my deer legal calibres. Indeed over the last 18 months I have had 11 Roe, 5 Muntjac hundreds of Rabbits and probably knocking on 100 squirrels.
