eccles Posted April 29, 2013 Report Share Posted April 29, 2013 Had a call a hour ago off Dafydd said he'd ploughed and reseeded a field on sat. Yesterday and this morning lot of crows on it. Went just now for a look and about 100 + carrion and rooks took off. Went back to the house to pick up the hide, not much cover to set it up no hedge or anything decent. Was 1 big ash tree other side with a big thick trunk,so set up hide against it. Made it as small as possible so not to look to much out of place. Looked ok when walking back so it out in the morning for a bit of crow bashing with luck. Got a second hand Beretta 303 on sat so it will be first time out with it tomorrow. superspark Posted April 29, 2013 Report Share Posted April 29, 2013 Ive had this trouble " not much cover" so I usually take my pop up hide and sit inside with my deeks out. The crows have been VERY quiet round my parts lately, this time last year me and Welsh Andy were clobbering the **** out of them. Wet out on Friday morning and not one crow came in to the pattern despite the farmer complaining that they were hassling his lambs.
