chrisjpainter
I've just started doing my air wolf. I've done the silencer, the bottle and the barrel and it seems pretty easy so far...Not looking forward to the complicated sock though... dazbrit
I was looking at getting one of these and having a go at doing my old Remington 1100. Everybody seems to be covering rifles so do you think I could cover a semi-auto or would it be too dificult?
chrisjpainter
I don't see why not? You might have to take a lot more time over it, but i guess it'd work? Just don't do what someone I know once did: bought a stupidly expensive gun as a retirement present to himself. Thought he'd get a nice heather camo job done to give it a USP. Went out for a grouse shoot, took a couple of birds, put the gun down to go and retrieve (dog having got distracted) came back, never found the gun - too well camouflaged! no claim on insurance either. not an ideal way to start retirement... sixhills 69
I have to say i just done my CZ 223 and it is so simple if you take your time, i used a kit from the US on my semi auto 12gauge but camo it is 100% better and the finish is great. I watched the video's a few times until i was happy to go ahead i would recommend it to anyone that wants to make the gun look new. My wife did't believe it had been covered she thought i had bought a new rifle.
