  5. Looking for a beretta but pad for a 686s. A thin one if possible, think the thinnest are about 13mm. Thanks
  6. Charles Gale three piece shooting suit ( breaks, waistcoat and jacket) made of heavy tweed, ideal for keeper, in a good to very good condition. The breeks are 36" waist with a long leg with some slight discolouring on the waistband(inside) but other wise are in good condition. The waistcoat and jacket are a 42/44 in very good condition apart from some slight rust on the buckle of the waistcoat. All in all a great suit for shooting or beating that cost over £400. Will take £75 and would prefer pick up but will post at buyers expense.SOLD Orvis lambs wool sweater. Lovely, thick, warm, navy blue jumper with suede piping to the zipped collar and cuffs. Size says xl but is more an xxl. Like new so £30. Regents View Shooting fleece jacket. A really warm fleece, ideal for cold, winter days, the size says xl but is more like an xxl. £25 Barbour Beaufort wax jacket, blue. Size c46/117cm which is about xl. In decent condition but with a small tear( about 5mm) in the left arm, all the Zips and press studs work as they should. £35. Can't upload any pictures, keeps saying file too big, but I will send them to you if you give me your email address. Would prefer items to be picked up but I will post a the buyers expense as I haven't got a clue about postage costs.

  11. Looking at selling a couple of walked up/boundry days on our shoot in North Wales this year, mainly Pheasant with a chance of wild Duck and Woodcock, around the 30 bird mark. Just putting the feelers out, at the moment, to see what sort of interest we get. Please pm me and I'll get back to you with dates, prices, etc.
  12. Thank you Russ but I'm now sorted.
  13. As above 1/2 inch unf.
  14. Looking for a scope for a .243 and wondered what would be the best one for around £200. Just after a bog standered(ish) 8x56, or the like, until I get the funds for a better one.
  15. I'll have the Bi-pod, if it's still for sale, please.
  16. Same here. £500 for stove and about another £100 for pipe and slate tiles. £600 in all.
  17. Thanks for the replies. Spoke to BASC yesterday and they've put me right on the matter, especially over "the estate rifle rule", so fingers crossed for Monday morning.
  18. The fireams officer is coming over on Monday morning, to see me, about my application for a .22 lr and a 22.250. I spoke to him, today, and he asked we what experience I've had with centrefire rifles and to get a letter of someone to say I have experience, safe shot etc. I have never applied for a firearms licence (had shotgun for 10 years, or so) as I've always gone out lamping etc. with friends and family who have one so never saw the need, but have know been employed as a keeper, on an estate, so now need them but was wondering what I should tell the FEO about my experience with centrefire. What I'm trying to say is, can I tell him I've shot rifles before? I don't want to jepordise my application or get someone in trouble, for shooting their rifle, if this is illegal as I'm not quite sure, plus what other questions should I expect to be asked and what else does it entail. I have my permission letters, cabinets etc. but just don't want it to go wrong. Probably worrying over nothing but just want to make sure everything is right. Thanks. Darren
