reggiegun
What HD video cam should I be looking at for recording shooting activities, how much optical zoom etc. What models do you use, WITHOUT breaking the bank. jamiedenny
go pro is a good place to start, depending on what you want to do.
wildfowler.250
Yeah if it's for shotgun shooting I'd suggest a gopro
steve_b_wales
I use an Action Cam #3 720P HD, also known as a 'chilli cam'. It retails around £50 and is excellent when fitted to a shotgun. It does'nt switch off through recoil. Plenty of clips on YouTube.
aris
Personally, i'd want something that does 60 frames per second or better. 720p is fine unless you really need 1080 for some reason. The Sony HDR-AS15 looks quite sweet. It will do 120fps in 720p. Check out some of the demo videos on YouTube. It's isn't on the cheap side, but it is much less than the similarly spec'd GoPro. Not clays, but here is a shotgun clip at 120fps: Edited May 8, 2013 by aris
