fuzzypigeon
I was down near Sutton bridge last week and most of what I saw was dropping into the wheat/barley fields with numbers somewhere around 50+ although along the a47 between Wisbech and march there wasn't many on the fields
fenboy
I live in sutton bridge , there are plenty in the area but they just cannot be pinned down to any particular field , there may be 100 or more on the fields behind my house one day and gone the next. The Ghost
Covered about 120 miles over the past week and we have plenty showing from March town out towards Wisbech. Mornings show a great deal of birds heading out to feed, finding them in any numbers from that point has been the problem. It was a cold night on Thursday and watched at least 100 go to roost in a small wood of ours, went last night and shot 6 of the small number that came in. What I will say is "they have to be the biggest pigeon in England on the Fens", huge powerful birds.

Fat birds are more grateful, we all know that....what concerns me is....Why does Lynx keep coming up with such dodgy fragrances? First African, so I attract flies. Then Chocolate, so I attract fat birds. And now Lynx Bullet... Let's just say I wouldn't advise wearing it when you're walking near Fenboy or Fenny. Moors Man
Seen very few in the last few weeks. Was over near Wisbech last weekend and saw about half a dozen on a field of peas but nothing else. Spent about an hour with binos trying to see any movement but nothing happening. Those you do a couple of shots and they are gone and don't seem to come back.
