Essex Keeper
It's for use on my .223 looking at £500 I do as much at night as I do in the day
al4x
should be able to find something 2nd hand and with european glass on for that, at the lower end a s&B or swaro 8x56 or you are close to variable money. Variable would be my choice if you shoot to 300 yards often but you might need to spend a little more or look at something like a leupold or MTC
Essex Keeper
Chap at work said about a Swarovski 8x56 I'd like to get shooting out to 300 yards but most of my shooting at the moment is 150 200 yards

Archie-fox
S&B 8x56-Awesome scope!! A fantastic choice, I had one but as some of my shooting was starting to lamp foxes past 150 yards I was finding it a struggle at night so I got a meopta scope that has a little more power...but a 8x56 S&B is a fantastic scope...but if you are going to lamp a little more than 150 yards I would recommend something with a little more power.. But its a case of money meopta are a good call for a variable in that price bracket if your budget was 650 or so I've a cracking swaro you could try thats variable
