Paul223
i know a fella selling one (1.6 petrol), it is real tidy for it's age inside and out for the sort of money you want to spend, shame were so far away i've had loads of the diesels but only one petrol, great little trucks
NIGHT SEARCHER
I have just had a look on Auto trader and there`s a good number of sportraks. The 1.6 petrol mpg is not very good on the spec list 20 to 25 mpg. There`s a good number of fourtraks on there and the 2.8 diesel is bomb proof and a lot better mpg. There main problem is they rust badly on the wings and floor but a lot have been owned by farmers and caked in mud. I have had a 98 lwb 2.8 td shogun has my shooting truck for the last 4 years and it`s been faultless a very capable 4x4 and returns 25 to 32 mpg. al4x
Basically the engines are the main weak point with head gasket problems and fuel use is heavy. Add in tin worm and the fact they are old and they are a buy you have to be very careful with, get a fourtrak or vitara
