Birds of prey Working dogs Parade of hounds in the main ring I have never seen a gun smith/ shop there, but there are some good clothing people near the countryside arena. Local food Marquee is a must, not as many free samples as some years ago, but some great produce. thepasty Posted June 4, 2013 Report Share Posted June 4, 2013 in 36 years I've never been... mostly put off by the god awful traffic and long waiting times.... the wifes been a few times and loves it, when the kids are older I'll defo be heading over for a day of farming fun. If its sunny... take sun block Traffic can be bad, but we are meeting a few friends in the car park early about 7:30 am where we cook a breakfast and have a coffee and chat before going in, then we go our own way and meet at the Skinners brewery tent at lunch time. That way we miss the traffic and the £3.50 bacon rolls inside.
