kobidog
Any one seen any wilds broods about yet? I have only seen ducks and moorhens with young, few pairs of grey partridges and hen pheasants are about but I havent seen any with chicks yet! Although the cover is very high now so probably just not seeing them

karpman
Don't seem to get many breed around here. Well they do the breeding bit but not much comes of it unfortunately. One of the farms I got up to always has mallard raise her young in the grass, she had ten last year and the farmer always waits until she done before cutting. Seeing them bath in the **** puddle coming out the muck heap always makes me chuckle mind Karpman
kobidog
They might be late this year as the spring was so cold, at least there is less rain this year so chicks should do better
