jamiedenny
I have just picked up a new toy and haven't really shot from a truck much so looking for some help. its a series a fronty so the roof comes off which is great but the roof bar point is a little too far back to use as a rest. what things have people made / brought to offer a rest with a raised front end for rifles ?. a little less ott than this maybe :-)

archiebald
This is the best truck I have shot from in years!! http://s1030.photobucket.com/user/masmiffy/media/Image0309_zpsc6c56dc2.jpg.html My vitara is too, so small, light and quiet. Almost like a 4 seater quad! Wouldn't change it for anything else.
jamiedenny
So what have you used to adapt it or do you just open thewindow and use the wing mirror (mine is too high and the position is awkward if I'm in the drivers seat (right handed). archiebald
On my vitara I just wind window down and rest my gun on my hand. Iv stuck adhesive neoprene strips to top of wing mirror and inside bottom of window frame to stop gun getting marked. Also changed lighter socket for a marine 12 v socket as I found the lighter socket used to get hot and damage lamp plugs.
al4x
We just use a bipod off the fronty roof works well and not complicated.
