mrikirkby Posted June 13, 2013 Report Share Posted June 13, 2013 Stopped and had a look at some rape fields that have been ruined by rabbits tonight on my way home from fishing and managed to bag 3 with my BSA Ultra that has just been regulated and a tune. Got to say it has transformed the gun and i am well happy with it ! Anyway when I got there it was rabbit city and they all scurried off, most in to the longer rape instead of the boroughs which I haven't seen before ? So I parked my **** in the hedge and waited for about 10 mins and out pops first rabbit ...job done. Walked further up the edge of the field and still they were running off in to the long rape so sat and waited again and 2 appeared from the longer rape so I had both of them as well, one of which was a cracking shot placed exactly between the eye and the base of the ear.
