bikemad24
iv put in for a 22 250. Just had the garden and the bathroom done so the wife is happy but left my bank account drained! I was thinking of buying a tikka as cheap as possible and having a new barrel fitted. im not interested in a match type barrel or shooting above 300yrds as its just for fox control. does anyone know the cost of a standard barrel? or is this a bad idea? thanks to anyone that reply's

jgguinness
I know my local guy, who is very good, will do a Bergara barrel, fitted for £400, I know because my .223 needs a new barrel!
jamie g
by the time you pay for cheap action and a rebarrel you will be looking at the same cost of a new factory rifle
