Raptor1971
Like most other people it's been very hard going on the pigeon up here with very few around on the farm I go to every day to sort the horse out. I decided to have a walk around but only managed one crow, when the missus decided to say " go look in our paddocks you wont believe it ". so off I went and I nearly shot the bloody horse in frustration, there in front of me was a flock of around 100 birds in our paddock feeding on the clover . I had a good scout round and noticed only 2 other horses were out in the paddocks so I asked the girls if they would like to fetch them in for a few hours and in exchange I would provide a coupe of bottles of wine for them ......fair deal I thought. My missus said yes straight away Well to say I was surprised when the answer came back " No your not shooting them poor birds and it's a sunday we wont drink because of work tomorrow " to which I nodded my head and accepted, but on my way out of the tack room one reminded me that I mentioned I would help repair the fencing, I nearly fell over Can anyone guess my reply All I will say is oops there seem to be a few horses wandering around in other paddocks because fencing is not as it should be !!! Good luck girls. So I have paddocks full of pigeon and can't shoot them !!!!
