Lord Geordie
Finally! Add the handle for leverage, and there you have a Career 707 end ring wrench for under a quid
GP1
Very good Martin, that saves marking the ends up with a pair of grips
Lord Geordie
It Certainly will Geoff! I made this to help out a Chap who offered me a days shooting! He has a Career that is in need of a tune up. The valve removal tool I simply use a set of extention bars and a flat blade modified screwdriver tip. Mine had the dreaded chewed rings when I got it. I found a guy selling brass rinhs for £25 a set so will replace mine now. I need the seals doing anyway as they leak slowly. Hope your keeping well Geoff? Been a long while! Lord Geordie
Slight modification needed! There is not enough room for the tool to go between the rings. I have cut away the ends to allow the tool to work looks a little weak now so starting another tool.

Lord Geordie
Had to rethink the whole thing. The spanner idea was not going to work so thought of something simpler! Took a piece of bracing and placed the end cap onto the edge and marked it up. Drilled the profile out then removed the material leaving a small lip to use as a pin. Took a file to the steel and smoothed it out and also filed the pin to a size to locate into the holes on the ring. Took all of about 20 mins to make.and THIS should work OK Piccy coming soon.
