eccles
Been for a spin around the area this morning. Acres and acres of fields cut waiting now to see who clears some fields first, silage cutters going, balers going later. Crows are scattered all over the place this morning, hoping thats they keep the crows on the move. Going to be hard going today getting them in to deeks i recon. Should get some good shooting in the next few weeks. Monday could be good 1 farm cut yesterday getting it in tomorrow close to town so should get the town crows coming for a free feed and some lead for pudding. eccles
Went for a hour crows dropping in fields further away from where i put out deeks. No point hanging about so packed in had 7 carrion crows for 7 shells so pleased with that. Could have shot 20 + jackdaws but he won't pay for them i'll wait till they start on his sheep feed then he can pay.

eccles
Just been around for a look few fields cleared but lot still got to bale or chop for silage. Most sure to finish today so might get out tomorrow. Still a hell of a lot of fields not yet cut 3 to 4 weeks behind this year here, due to bad weather late keeping for hay etc. You right John it is a pain in the backside when to much free food on fields. Its hit or miss that they will decoy to the field you set up on. Them few yesterday came straight down the dovey valley in one's seen deeks and came straight in to have a look but never made it back. . Plenty of jackdaws about but most farms won't pay for them getting shot unless on the animal feed or drill so don't bother to shoot them unless they are a good testing shot. atb Terry
