The Essex Hunter Posted July 20, 2013 Report Share Posted July 20, 2013 I saw 2 foxes last night one was hovering around a group of lambs and their mothers. It was not that big as it kept disappearing in the long grass. A couple of hundred yards further along a second set of eyes were glinting back; however the grass was playing havoc with a good id/shot. I moved to around 125 yards away, set the gun up and called…up popped the fox from the grass just enough to make the shot.
