Martin&Oakley
Will this charger be ok for a 12v 7ah battery, it says car but surely it should work ok with the normal type of rotary battery? Cheers Might help if I post what I'm talking about. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/7405392.htm Edited July 24, 2013 by Martin&Oakley

fenboy
Yes thats fine , you want a charger that charges at a rate of 25% or less of the battery it charges at 1.5 amp /hr which = a 6 amp / hr battery so with your 7 amp / hr it will be ok. steve_b_wales
I keep all my batteries connected to trickle chargers. They cost very little to use and keep the battery in tip top condition without over charging it. I bought my chargers from Ebay at around £5 each.
