JustJon
Hi, Has anyone ever tried Phil Beasley and the pigeon syndicate he runs (if he's still doing it)? £150/day is too rich for me but £300 isn't bad for a significant (16?) number of days out if he does it and anyone has positive feedback. £20 per trip is reasonable (assumes shooting once a week for the period quoted on his site which is out of date) Thanks, Jon
BRAD1927
Not keen on syndicates hogging all the ground. Seen far to many farmers only to get told someone already shoots this land then watch daily for a week on ly to see nobody turn up

Bobba
Many of us with our own permissions are lucky bunnies. If I had to pay £70/day (own kit) then I would be paying upward of £300/month if shooting once a week over 4 farms. That's where knocking on doors is well worth the effort. Teal
They very kindly donated a days pigeon shooting in the Charity Raffle. I have shot with the Beasley's before, they certainly have a lot of ground across some very good pigeon country. I can't speak for the syndicate - where I imagine you have to do a lot of the legwork - but it seems a good deal. A lot of their clients (spending top dollar) are not all that interested in sitting in our typical winter weather which I think is why they are offering it and bearing in mind your circumstances has to be worth a try? Since you say the website details are a little out of date why not give them a call or drop Will Beasley on here a PM - http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/user/221-will-beasley/ I am sure they will be able to give you some more info - although this time of year they will be pretty flat out with bookings from their clients.
