mad1
Hi all I'm about to put some spots onto the Landy I'm just wondering what's the best way to do it ?? I'm wanting a switch on dash to turn them off independently but I'm wanting them to come on with the main bean ?? They are 55w .. How do I tap into the main beam circuit to take a feed from there ?? If anyone has any idiot proof diagrams that will be great as to where the relay and fuses go :-0 !!! Cheers everyone M1

Run the positive straight to your battery and connect the negative to the earth stud on the o/s bulkhead. To connect the 3 way switch use the main beam feed from the fuse box as it saves you stripping the cowling off the steering colum.
keg
I don't know myself but i am sure there is a ruling about spotlights that come on with maon beam have to be at a certain height. Can anyone confirm?
V8 90
Yes they do but I can't remember the height. I would also carefully consider what type of lights you fit on your roof - if it's a Defender you'll find they glare off the bonnet - well mine did - I fitted 4 the from XEng, sorted
