.22 hornet/rem 7 1/2 primers

you might be thinking about the 6 1/2 Rems (standard small rifle). The Rem 7 1/2 BR have hard cups and are known for NOT puncturing, even with hot loads. That was part of the reason I chose them when loading for the Encore (a pierced primer in the encore is a different ballgame compared to a bolt action).

Sorry all my numbers dyslexia playing up again, it was 6 1/2. Anyhow I am off all things Gremlington these days Bar their nitro steel shotgun shells which are very good.
