jimmyb79
I'm changing .17hmr rifles from a Sako Quad to a CZ452 style in a couple of days and am keeping my DM80 moderator. The rear bush on the mod won't fit over the barrel of a CZ as its wider in diameter than the Sako. Is the rear bush entirely necessary to shoot with or is it like other mods just to help align the barrel etc? ] I'm trying to source a replacement bush as my amateur attempt at widening the bush has gone a bit wrong (So if anyone can help me with where to get one...) - but want to know if I can use it in the meantime... steve_b_wales
I use a DM80 on my .17HMR and it does'nt have a rear bush fitted, but it does not affect it working. I used to have it fitted on a .22LR and it was okay.
jimmyb79
Cheers guys, thought as much. Have PMd Dave on the Airgun forum plus emailed John Knibbs but happy to carry on without for the time being.
