EMcC
Hide Poles - the best hide poles are 4ft green electric fencer posts from Scats or a similar country store. They come complete with ground spikes and hooks at different heights for you to fix the net to stop it from moving in the wind. A pack of five costs £7.50 the last time I bought any. moorvale55
EMcC, what a brilliant idea. Been looking around garden centres etc for suitable poles but found nothing. It's off to the farm suppliers next. Thanks for the idea. ATB.
shootnfish
Electric fence posts are ok if the ground isn't too hard but if it is the spikes bend have bent loads when sectioning off my wife's paddoock for her horse. I use the steel road pins that are used for holding up the orange fencing on building sites you can bang them into any ground and they will last as long as your shooting life.
