Cockerman59
When the pheasants are on walkabout down the rides, can you use the orange plastic fencing to guide the in certain directions, say you have a crossroads and would like them to go straight on, can you guide the with a fence either side, (and feeder, wheat). Or would it be a problem if they got to the other side? Dave
ColinF
We are trying some of this type of fencing this season to stop birds wandering in a particular direction. Seems to be working so far, but time will tell if its worthwhile. Ours is near to a boundary, so birds must be able to get back to our side. We have put some pop holes in, same as you would in a release pen, but without the fox grids. Our fencing is green and I got it from fleabay along with the steel road pins to hold it up
scotslad
I have done something similar with either old rabbit net or stock fence and folded bottom 2 squares up to make it slightly harder to squeze throu. Defo think it helps, i started off putting pop holes in but to be honest birds are quite happy flapping over the wire
scolopax
I have seen it done successfully both on rides in big woods to stop the birds wandering en masse too far from the release area and also across field gate ways to stop birds wandering from field onto roads. Got to be worth a try.

I leave the door open and pull this up to the door its worked for me for about 9 years .also use has a flushing point
