Well terry its a shame that the local lads treat your hospitality like that. I have been out with a couple of people from pw who have been kind enough to take me. I have enjoyed every time and had some great banter. Once my broken ankle is healed and I am able to drive again I would happily drive the 2 and a half hours for a bit of crow bunny or vermin bashing. So long as the **** taking goes both ways!!

:lol: Glenn i can give the stick and take it. :lol: I just love the company of good sportsmen or women. Like seeing other shooters having a good time out. :good: They always get a great welcome here and get some good shooting. :good: atb Terry

Terry give me 4 to 6 weeks to be out of this cast and if its an open offer of any kind of shooting then I will be on my way!!! Thats if the mrs has not buried me in the garden and claimed the insurance!! Any cheap or decent or both hotels in the area?

Few hotels and BB here everyone stops with us when they are down Bud,if you don't mind roughing it you can stop to always a spare bed. :good:

I have shot with 2 different PW members...and both time required at 5am get up.

No bother really - just requires an early night.

i was on 13hr nights sunday and got in bed at 7.00am got up at 9,00am and went pigeon shooting with my son 30 odd pigeons, outside all day finer than sleeping, father son time cant buy that when i aint here :good:

Your so right. I don't have children yet but I can see myself being dedicated to them like that. Well done, like you said money can't buy father son time.

All to true, I take my 6 year old daughter with me to the clay ground and if and when I get some beating she will come with me to. But only cause I dont have a dog yet!!! Seriously though she is constantly nagging me to take her shooting ,she just needs to get a little bigger and I will treat her to a few lessons first. Start em young. Just like I did with my dad.
