Rogc
You have probably worked this out for yourselves but just in case your having the same problems. When tumbling 223 cases I seemed to spend ages removing the media from the cases. A top tip, empty what you can via the tumbler lid leaving the cases and a small amount of media in the tumbler. Remove the lid and switch back on. The vibration helps loosen the compacted media. I then remove the cases 2 at a time, holding them upside down on the tumbler edge. Any stick media then falls out. Albert 888
Will try and see what happens thanks. I have been leaving spent primers in the case which made it alot faster and easier to empty media out, then deprime afterwards.

kent
I never suffer compacted media. I use corn cob with a teeny weeny amount of liquid brasso, done allsorts from Hornet up to big stuff and I just pull a case tap it on the rim. Is your media getting damp? or dirty? It don't last forever

This is'nt a problem, as I clean the primer pockets/flash holes anyway.

Yeah, I used to do that! I don't now as sometimes it takes a while to clear all the flash holes without damage. Dirty case in tumbler, remove and de-prime (de-capping die) then clean or condition primer pocket and flash hole. Check length, trim only if required- debur and job done!
