FalconFN Posted September 24, 2013 Report Share Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) A quick google says it's a red palm weevil: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhynchophorus_ferrugineus Apparently it's an invasive species and causes a lot of problems. If it needs treading on then you have made my mind up, I will have to go back to Spain in a few days for another week to get as many as I can . Flip Flops at the ready to splat a few, I wonder if I could take a picture as we do for the pigeons of the "Weevils" I manage to catch.
