50/50 Tyres for my Disco 200 tdi

Me again! Sorry!

I would like some real life reviews of tyres please. I do spend a lot of time on the perms and the Pajero expired end of last year which meant I got away with the van while it was dry!

No longer! I bought the Disco after getting stuck a couple of times...too embarrassing, even if the farmer found it funny rather than annoying!

Now, the Paj had Grabbers which seemed to do the job, but there are many other (and some cheaper) options. I'm looking for a 50/50 mud biased tyre, when it gets slick it gets deep and slick!

What do you use and/or recommend?

I use BF Goodrich AT's on my 4x4 and they are fine but when its gets deep and slick the M/T's come out to play, Tall and Narrow is what you want in the mud, Other good all rounders are Grabbers which you have had or Coopers, Non are cheap though, Khumos are another good option but I havnt had them for a few years, Personally I don't think you can beat BF Goodrich, Just my opinion though.

we have bfg a/t's on our work hi-lux's and they tend to last between 40-50k so yes at £115 a corner (31/10.5/r15) they still work out great value for money tyre and we have been through all sorts with them on there a great all round tyre!!! you will notice your mpg drop with m/t's and you wont get anywhere near as many miles out of them!! half maybe even less?? but if your not doing any miles a year 3-4k get a cheap set of remould tyres i had insa turbo dakars on my mk3 hilux and at 70 a corner (235/75/r16) they were great tyres i did 10 k on them and only barely half worn!!! just go easy in the wet! it really depends on mileage you intend to do/how much road noise you mind/how much you have to spend a corner?/is fuel econamy a issue???
