Basc advise:- If you have returned your application form in good time and are experiencing delays which may put you in unlawful possession of firearms when your certificate expires, then you should ask for a Temporary Permit under Section 7 of the Firearms Act 1968. This will allow you to keep and use your firearms and shotguns and also, by virtue of Section 5(2)(a) of the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988, to purchase ammunition. Unfortunately it will not allow you to possess expanding ammunition – if you have any. This should be lodged with a registered firearms dealer until you have your renewed certificate. Terry P
Thanks terry, what's happened to your advartar, your not half as attractive as you were. I don't believe I've ever had an avartar lol, but feel free to invite me to one of your goose flights and i'll give you a signed photo . As for dressing elegantly, i'm quite scared, plus the only gun I own is a cam 3.5" semi, highbird is going to have a stroke lol
liam_italian
Mine took about a month and I work for them! I found that giving them a call every Monday helped. Be advised that they are only open between 10am and 2pm now.
