wymberley
I would imagine that most of us use these for our night shooting lamps. I'm having a bit of a fiddle at the moment with a particular lamp which for convenience requires a wiring change but the lamp demands that I retain the connectors at one end of the new cable. While at it I had a look for a quality cigar plug as opposed to the usual run of the mill items. Should there be anyone else that tends to fiddle/replace leads/whatever, then the Pro Car Universal Plug, Manufacturer's Code: CO211 is as good as they get. No soldering (screw terminals), fused (with a built on fuse extractor claw - clever!), LED and very beneficially, screwed strain relief. OK not cheap but the cost is outweighed by the quality. Got mine from Outdoor GB.
kennett
I Find it much easier to extend the wires and croc clip straight to battery. Less wire inside to get wrapped round rifles and arms etc, no fuses to blow or plugs to get too hot!
