Yes it is worth getting a silencer. Even a springer will benefit from one, it will cut down on the crack down target. You will still get the mechanical boing in the buisness end but this will not be heard (ish) by the quarry.

 

As for which silencer then I would go for the wacker one, or the Logun one but legend has it the Wacker has the edge.

:lol: lol Sorry, I should be more clear perhaps...I basically wasn't sure whether or not the HW77 comes with a thread on the barrel already. So if it doesn't come with a thread its gonna cost the price of a silencer + the cost of getting the barrel threaded which could be quite a bit :lol:. Thats all I mean't lol =)

:lol: don't worry, it's not essential to have your barrel threaded, there are a number of adaptors available including a universal 'parker-hale' adaptor. i had my barrels threaded because i very much like these particular silencers, & because it only cost me £10 to have each barrel altered :lol::lol:
