Harnser
Certainly can't see me paying £1000 for one, picked up a nice s/h 870 Wingmaster, added a +5 mag extension and 6 shell side saddle for less than half of that. I had two of those when I came out of hospital after my knee op. Harnser.

I hope they adjusted the LOP correctly for you It does look rather long but stood next to my O/U and S/A it's only about 2" longer..
wraivi
Far as I'm aware, Stoeger usa was originally started as a marketing operation of sporting goods. They buy guns or commission a production run and then brand it with their name, something that has occurred in the gun trade for centuries. The M series guns are/were being made by a turkish arms co. Called Vursan or Versan (spelling?) They were supposedly purchased by benelli after legal action due to patent infractions on the benelli inertia/rotating bolt mechanism. Gotta wonder about the origin of many parts and barrels nowadays. I picked up these bits of info while in New Zealand a couple years back from a big well known gun retailer there. So might be kiwi sales bullsh t but I have seen references to this on t'internet. Mmm - but are these not "Made in Turkey"? As they are, then I'll pass... Benelli MAY own Stoeger - but they don't manufacture them in the Benelli factory
