Gun set up.

I have just bought a new Browning Maxus. I am tall and have long arms and set the Lenght of pull so that the crease at the top of my finger trigger is in line with the trigger. Then mounted the gun ensuring the butt was pressed firmly against my cheek, using a mirror. I found that I could see the Lenght along all of the rib and the bead.

I changed the shim lifting the stock, mounted the gun and found that I was looking along the rib at the bead, not nearly as much of the rib visible. If I close my left eye It spot on the the bead.

I have been shooting skeet, I am consistently breaking 17 but am missing crossers on 3, 4 and 5 from the low house, every time.

I suppose the answer is to shoot some patterns with it, trouble is I do not have access to land to do it.

mine is jam ming do not know the reason average about 1 in 4 sessions. and yes I do clean gun 32 6s not overly impressed still ive got it now so watch this space best of luck...

one stoppage in 4 sessions, that's not a lot if you fire 100 shells a go 1 in 4 shots is ridiculous though. I suggest you clean the mag tube internally, clear the gas ports and soak the piston in meths overnight before giving it a good scrub also clean any carbon off the exterior of the mag tube and use just a tiny amount of thin oil.

If that fails change shells
