Penelope
Darren, Traditionally wildfowling is conducted on the coast and the vast majority of wildfowling clubs are located close to or have their shooting there too, so as you are virtually in the middle of the country it is unlikely. But saying that you may be able to find some inland duck/goose shooting particularly being near the Trent, but I expect that will be in private hands as apposed to a club. If you want coastal fowling I would suggest that you look into some of the Wash clubs as that will be your closet opportunity. It may be worth asking at your local gun shop if they know of any clubs that are in the area, also if you are a BASC member they will be able to provide you with club and contact details. hi guys - this might be a long shot i know but :- i was wondering , hoping for ideas and tips how to get into wildfowling . i live in Notts ,Radcliffe on trent , so as far as i know theres not much around these parts - or is there , i really have no idea to be honest . nic
As above really, look at the permit scheme to see if any of the nearer clubs do day permits. this would allow you to 'try before you buy' so to speak Edited October 16, 2013 by nic
snowmonster
I know of a club at Gainsbrough that shoots on some flashes at the side of the Trent and who's members are also eligible for Humber permits, If you wish to pm me I'll forward the chairmans email address if you're interested.
