weebster
Could well do for airgun range,I've been playing around with this cmos cam and a sony based cam and both seem very good considering they only cost a score. I haven't removed the ir filters from the cameras. The cmos comes with a 16mm lens. cmos http://www.dhgate.com/product/mini-139-cmos-700tvl-16mm-board-security/157747477.html#s1-16-1|4139453168 Some footage of the cmos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OnD545gLsQ&feature=youtu.be Sony cam http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-Sony-600TVL-CCD-D-WDR-Auto-IRIS-Bullet-OSD-CCTV-Box-Camera-system-45-40mm-/321221392964?pt=US_Surveillance_Security_Systems&hash=item4aca497a44 Haven't done any footage of the sony yet, good points are it accepts c/cs mount lens, down side is it's a bit heavy at 135g,sensor is the sony icx639........might do for a cheap vehicle mounted spotter Edited October 30, 2013 by weebster
deaquire
This is gunna sound so stupid, but that video, unless you're looking through the camera is it completely dark? No one else can see all of that "light"? This boggles my head so much

No one else can see IR light unless they have a device capable of working within the IR spectrum.
