Despite the rain which came on after the second drive the birds flew really well, too well for some of the guns. There were six eighteen year old boys in the gun line up today and I must say their behaviour restored my faith in today's generation. All turned up on time, all wore shirts and ties, were polite and chatty, and without exception they were safe and considerate shots. I saw no greedy shooting and no low birds were shot. Their thanks to the 'keeper at the end of the day were profuse. The bag was 76 pheasants and six partridges. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
