kipper
Hello chaps, Could you tell me if Webley and Scott Semi auto shotguns are any good. I fancy a semi auto shotgun in the reeltree/mossy oak kamo and my local gun shop has got one of these in. are they any good any advice would be graitfully received. Thanks Kipper

invector
Made in Turkey. seemed to like it, but got a few jams, when using different cartridges. Advised to get a cartridge the gun likes, and stick with it. You can hardly go wrong at the price!
Lord Geordie
It's the same as an Escort they just changed the vents and the piston and then they charge £100 extra for the webley name. Even the same Flaws as an Escort Bad fit of stock chokes Stock too short Jams with mixed ammo and when it's stripped the only difference I can see are the ones listed above. Personally i would rather pay £100 less than have a £100 amount of wool pulled over my eyes LG
starlight32
Yes they are the same model as the escort but with some slight cosmetic changes. I was gonna buy one for my wildfowling but chose for reasons as in other posts. £100-00 better off with the escort same chamber and steel shot proofed!!!!!!!!! P.S I have put over 5000 cartridges through the escort now since purchase, Everything from 28g clay loads through to 50g Magnum steel and even 63g AAA remington with little or no malfunction. kipper
Thanks for replies chaps. The one in the gun shop is webley and scott 810 camo 12g multichoke left hand £459 new. what other options are there on the market for a 12g semi auto in camo. up to about £500max. its only for a second gun for luging around the fields. I would rather buy new but a good conditioned second hand one would do. I should also mention that I shoot left handed thanks kipper
